Join us at the PlaneTree Health Library on the first Saturday morning of each month to talk about a great book, over a morning cup of coffee (or tea). Each title is picked to spark a conversation about topics that count in our lives now, and how we adapt our approach to life as we, or those around us, age.
This month we will enjoy reading and discussing Getting Old Without Getting Anxious by Dr. Peter V. Rabins a nationally acclaimed geriatric psychiatrist. In this book Dr. Rabins offers seniors, their families and caregivers comprehensive, easy to understand explanations and advice on how to “truly benefit from the blessing of increased longevity.” We’ll also go over upcoming titles for our new book club and welcome your suggestions.
Light refreshments will be ready and we’ll be waiting for you at 9:30 Saturday morning, at the PlaneTree Health Library. We’ll adjourn about 11, just as the library opens for the day. Stop in beforehand to buy or borrow your copy of the upcoming title and see everything else PlaneTree has to offer. If you don’t have a chance to read the “book of the month” each time, come anyway. Our book chat will include brief review of the title as well as discussion.
Kindly rsvp to 408/358-5667 so we can plan the eat treats. See you there!
